Communication & Design Manager Graphic Designer, Social Media, and Head Office Manager Urban Dining Group About us: We are a local family owned and operated company that designs, owns, operates, franchises different food service brands in Ontario. Our Head Office is at Bloor & Ave. Road in Toronto. We have been successfully operating our brands since 1989. Our brands currently include Gabby’s, District Eatery and Hey Lucy’s restaurants, with more exciting brands on the way. Position Summary: The Communication & Design Manager has several key responsibilities. To develop, curate and strategically post all social media for all brands, to work with ownership to design and execute all menus and location pintable’s, to oversee the upkeep, development and refreshing of the WEB domains and to ensuring that the office “operation” is running at a highly efficient level both within the Head Office, dealing with 15 or more locations as they communicate with head office. Key Roles and Responsibilities: - Key knowledge of social media posting protocols - Photography - Graphic design - Printing and asset fulfillment - Web site upkeep - Light administrative duties, keeping office organizing - Guess relations, taking calls from guests and organizing with the location for needs - Coordinator of all communications-internally and externally - New store openings - Local store marketing ideas and working with the team to help design promotions Internal H.O. Responsibilities: • All Creative design work completed for internal and external programs • Document and implement office and chain wide policies, standards, and procedures • Maintain office equipment and supplies • Maintain and ensure filing systems (paper and electronic) are kept up-to-date • Maintain office contacts and calendars • Ensure protection and security of files and records Knowledge Skills and Abilities: • A minimum of 2 years full-time in design and or social media as a full time job • Proficient SOFTWARE knowledge in the latest Adobe Suite • Advanced proficiency in MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint ) • Exceptional organizational skills with superior attention to detail • Superior verbal and written communication skills • Courteous and professional telephone manner • Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to support a team-oriented environment • Ability to work in a demanding environment with tight deadlines •Ability to work flexible hours on occasion but typical hours are 9am to 6 pm Monday to Friday Compensation will be based on the skillset of the individual $45,000 to $60,000 Experience in the Restaurant industry is a requirement to thrive in this fast-paced environment
