About the opportunity: We are a boutique condo developer in Toronto seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk/Administrative Support to work as an Individual Contractor, 32 hours per week, Monday - Thursday. Pay Rate: $28 - $30/hr Report to the CEO Essential Function/Responsibilities: - Accurate data entry of invoices; - Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions; - Issue payments when invoices are approved for payment by CEO; - Verify accuracy of bank transactions and balances daily; - Month end bank accounts reconciliations; - Provide timely responses to all internal and vendor inquiries; - Prepare and submit monthly invoices to vendors and partners; - Administrative duties as required; - Organization and accurately file all company files and ongoing project's documentation both electronically and within the office; - Other duties as required. Required Skills: - Strong Excel and Word skills required; - Self-directed and detail oriented; - Ability to perform work with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency; - Ability to work independently and as part of a team; - Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally and effectively with all individuals throughout the business; - Experience with QuickBooks.
